SpinLife Newcastle has both pre-owned vehicles and new vehicles available with Vantage Mobility International (VMI) conversions as well as AMS VANS. Wheel chair conversion vehicles are great for securely transporting your standard wheel chair, scooter, or power chair.

We use Q-Straint retractors which are compatible with L-Track, L-Pockets and Slide 'N Click anchorages, or may be directly mounted to vehicle floors, seat legs or barriers to secure a wheelchair, power chair or scooter.

The Rear entry conversion provides an accessible option for ease of parking with the ramp located in the rear of the vehicle to eliminate the worry of parking obstruction.

The side-entry conversion deploys the ramp out of the side door of the vehicle, allowing for ease of entry and it allows you to keep third row of seating.

A fold-out ramp rests upright along the inside of the closed sliding door and it can easily be deployed over a curb and manually operated if needed.

In Floor Ramp. With an in-floor ramp, the ramp is stowed under the floor of the vehicle creating more interior space for maneuverability. With no ramp obstructing the doorway, it allows passengers who aren't in a wheelchair to easily enter and exit the vehicle.

If your lifestyle includes 6 plus seating capacity, the ability to tow, oversize wheelchair access, extended cargo capacity, truly custom interior appointments or even 'non-minivan' driver desires - then a full size conversion van may be the right accessible transportation choice for you. Full size conversion vans are available on both Ford and GM chassis, and both manufacturers offer a mobility rebate on new vans that have mobility modifications. Recent additions to this market include the Nissan NV Van and the Transit Connect from Ford.
